Random thoughts
Shatterings of crystal hope
Shards of glassy thread;
Entwine their filaments around my heart
And weave their pattern in my head.
The broken dreams of long ago.
Now healed but seem more broken so.
Wasted illusion
Unreal reality
Shadows life
And dampens ability.

regret
I didn't want to laugh,
Honest.
When he said that
You were
So fat
That
When you
Lay down on
The beach
Greenpeace tries to
Push you
Back into
The ocean.
I would be lying
If I said;
I didn't see what was
In your eyes,
The moisture strained there,
Threatening Noah to
Build his ark.
I saw through your
Quivering grin.
But
Beneath my surface
All thought pulled taut.
Bubble, bubble
All toil and trouble,
My paradise forever lost,
I laughed.
